I have considered Bert Kilbride
to be one of the luckiest men
on earth. He has dove the many
reefs of the B.V.I. and has
explored many of its wrecks, a
dream that many of us have.
This page is dedicated to Bert
Kilbride, a great diver and a
gentleman. Unfortunately, Bert
passed away on January 8, 2008.

coordinator for the
filming of the Peter
Benchley novel, The
Deep. The movie stared
Nick Nolte, Robert Shaw,
Louis Gossett Jr. and of
course, Jacqueline Bisset.
Many of the wreck scenes
of the movie were filmed
on the Wreck of the R.M.S.
Rhone off of Salt Island.
