recent ship grounding, the "Elizabeth C" was used
to transport relief Pilots, Agents and Maritime
Attorneys to and from the grounded vessel. Ships
agents often arrange Boarding Parties for U.S.
Customs and Imigration and Nautralization Services
while under achorage prior to going dockside.
Delaware River. Ice damaged a large section of fendering of the
Tacony-Palmyra Bridge, therefore closing the main shipping
channel for ships bound North on the Delaware to Fairless and
Trenton. The "Elizabeth C" served as the Support Boat for a local
Dive firm during the surveying and repair of the fendering.
