| After passing over Lake Meade, we continued to the Southeast and dropped into the Grand Canyon. We flew along the Colorado River for about twenty-five miles. We then acended out of the Canyon and made a fuel stop at the Hualapai Indian Reservation. Two other helicopters landed at the same time and took on fuel. Because of the weight and balance problem, it is necessary to make a fuel stop along the 175 mile trip. |
