water level was raised. The last gates
were opened and we cleared the lock.
the water level is either raised or lowered. Once the ship enters
into the lock, it is moved into position and stabilized by electric
"mules". Once the water level is changed and the gates open,
the "mules" pull the ship forward and then the ship continues
under its own power.
